The Minimally Invasive Surgery Symposium is an annual event offering premier collaborative thought on minimally invasive surgery.
Often times the focal point of the discussions revolve around hernias, the foregut, metabolic disorders as well as diseases involving the colon.
Executive Director Philip R. Schauer will again be leading the conference along with a group of internationally renowned advanced laparoscopic surgeons. Leaders in the field of laparoscopic surgery such as Dr. Bradley Davis, Todd Francone, Dr. Craig S. Johnson and Dr. Rafael Lemus-Rangel are just some of the doctors that will be attending this year’s convention. The conference will be held at the Encore hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In addition to the seminar’s didactic sessions, hands-on workshops will also be offered, giving attendees real-time experience with laparoscopic suturing as well as endoscopic interventions.
The Minimally Invasive Surgery Symposium (MISS) is organized with the intention of gathering general, colorectal and bariatric surgeons who specialize in both laparoscopic and open operations. Fellows and surgical residents are granted admission at a reduced rate. Don’t miss on out this year’s MISS event for the latest advances in the surgical field.
